Capt. Dave runs a 23' Majek Skiff with
newly re-powered with a 200HP Fuel Injected Yamaha Pro V motor.
He can get his clients out to the fishing holes quickly - as well as
comfortably. Plenty of 'walk around room'
provides ease of movement for all on board.
- A-Reel Charter Service supplies all tackle, bait
and ice. Boat
is Coast Guard Certified and fully outfitted with safety equipment including life jackets (for
adults and children) and first aid kit.
- We clean and bag your catch.
- Clients need to bring their personal food and drink (lots of water for
hot weather fishing!) - we have plenty of cooler space on board.
- Clients must have a valid Texas Fishing License with a
Saltwater Stamp.
- We advise all clients to wear clothing befitting the
weather.
During summer months bring a long sleeved, light colored shirt, a hat
and sunscreen. In the cooler months, and when weather is
questionable, it is always wise to bring a sweatshirt or jacket and
maybe even throw a rain poncho in the bag - this is Texas, remember, and
you never know about the weather! Getting too much sun or being
cold and / or damp can ruin the trip - even when you're nailing the fish.
- Bring your sunglasses - year round - Polarized are the
best.
- We’re available for charter in tournaments and have
access to additional boats to accommodate larger, even corporate
groups.

Capt. Dave: Just a quick note to say thanks for a great day. My son and I
had a real
good time. Pulled out one filet last night. Used balsamic vinegar (Paul
Newman brand), Morton's seasoned salt and gobs of butter....made a
"boat" out of tin foil...and smoked it on my grill with pecan
wood.....unbelievable that such a dark-colored fish (the meat)...turned solid
white and flaky. It was delicious....better than Red Lobster. I think it's
better than Snapper...had no fishy taste what-so-ever. Thanks again....Harold G Habenicht,
